How to develop an unstoppable mindset and achieve self-mastery.
“One can have no smaller or greater mastery of oneself”- Leonardo da Vinci
Many talented people have gone unnoticed because they have not taken the time to invest, motivate or make the relevant changes necessary to bring their talent into the universe. It takes a significant level of effort, sacrifice and discipline in order to achieve self-mastery.
So how does one develop an unstoppable mindset and achieve self-mastery? You can start by taking the following steps:
How do you rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 in terms of your success, mental capabilities, health, happiness and your relationships with people? Are you happy in your job or are you counting the hours until 5pm comes around each day? How do you feel when it comes to your overall health and wellbeing? How positive and fulfilling are your relationships with your friends, family and peers?
Take some time to understand where you are currently at and determine areas of opportunity.
What is it exactly want out of life? What are your goals? How do you envision your life to be on this exact same day, 10 years from now? Consider what you want from all aspects of your life including your career, your health and your relationships. Take the time to write them down and remember to be clear and specific.
Schedule some time each week to review and re-assess, and ensure you are on-track to achieving your goals.
The biggest investment you can make is the one you make in yourself. Dedicate your time, energy and resources to continually develop and invest in yourself. Whether it is reading self-development books, listening to podcasts, watching inspirational videos or attending seminars. Do what you need to do and make the required effort to educate and invest in yourself.

If you want to develop an unstoppable mindset and achieve self-mastery, you need to be willing to overcome fears, make personal sacrifices and take action. Netflix and chilling your way through the week and weekend isn’t going to get you closer to your goals.
Be willing to make sacrifices, overcome fears and take the necessary action to make your goals and dreams come into fruition.
As Jim Rohn so wisely said, “you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” Be aware of your surroundings and choose your company wisely. Surround yourself with people who will challenge you, support you and genuinely want the best for you. These are the kinds of people who will inspire you, bring out the best in you and help you to achieve self-mastery.
Whilst self-mastery is a challenge for every individual and require discipline, sacrifice and overcoming fears, knowing yourself and understanding exactly what you want is the beginning of your journey to achieving self-mastery. Life is so much more fulfilling when you understand your purpose and begin to tap into your full potential.
