Alison and Maria are the founders of the Institute of Aesthetic Teeth Whitening (IATW) however before they became friends and business partners, they were rivals in the dental industry.
Maria was a trained dental hygienist coming from a family in the industry who looked at Alison, who was building a successful mobile teeth whitening company of her own without any formal qualifications, with scepticism. What began as a rivalry turned overnight into a friendship, with the two eventually joining forces during the pandemic to start IATW.
